Exchange, Return & Refund Policy

At Shilpjeet fashion studio (SFS) each saree and blouse is carefully curated and undergoes a strict quality check before dispatch. Due to the handcrafted, delicate, and exclusive nature of our products, we maintain a limited exchange-only policy. We request customers to read the following terms carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Policy

We do not offer returns or refunds on any products purchased.
Exchanges are permitted only under specific conditions mentioned below.
By placing an order or making a purchase, the customer agrees to all terms of this policy.
2. Saree Exchange Policy

Sarees are not eligible for return or refund.
Exchanges for sarees will only be considered in cases of:
Manufacturing defects, or
Damage during transit
Exchange requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery, along with:
Clear photographs/videos of the issue
A continuous unpacking video recorded from the moment the parcel is opened
Approved exchanges must be completed within 7 days from delivery, subject to verification by our quality team.
3. Blouse Exchange Policy

Blouses may be exchanged for size issues only, subject to stock availability.
Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.
Requests received after this period will not be accepted.
4. No Exchange Policy (Walk-ins, Exhibitions & Discount Sales)

The following purchases are strictly not eligible for exchange, return, or refund:

Products purchased directly from our store through walk-in purchases
Purchases made at exhibitions, pop-ups, or events
Products bought during discount sales, clearance sales, promotional offers, or special pricing events
All such purchases are considered final sale.

5. Mandatory Conditions for Exchange

(Applicable to both Sarees & Blouses)

For an exchange request to be considered, all conditions below must be fulfilled:

A clear and continuous unpacking video from the time the package is opened
Original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact
Product must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and unaltered
Product must be free from:
Perfume or deodorant stains
Makeup marks
Smoke smell
Body odour
Any other signs of use
Product must be returned in the same resaleable condition as received
Customers are requested to handle sarees carefully while checking or draping.

SFS reserves the right to reject any exchange request if the product shows signs of use, damage, alteration, or fails quality inspection.

6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
Share supporting images/videos along with the unpacking video
Requests raised after 24 hours will not be entertained
Upon verification, a suitable exchange may be initiated if the claim is found valid.

7. Quality Check & Exchange Approval

Once the returned product reaches us:

It will undergo inspection by our Quality Control team
Customers will be informed whether the exchange request is approved or rejected
Final approval of exchanges remains solely at the discretion of SFS
8. Shipping & Exchange Charges

Return shipping/courier charges must be borne by the customer
Shipping charges for the exchanged product will be applicable after approval
Any price difference between exchanged products must be paid before dispatch
9. Products Not Eligible for Exchange

The following items are not eligible for exchange unless received damaged or defective:

Customized orders
Pre-fall / picoed sarees
Altered products
Specially curated or custom-made sarees
Additionally:

Products returned without an unpacking video will not be accepted
Used, washed, scented, or damaged products will be rejected
10. Policy Changes

SFS reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
